About Us
Giving back to the community has been the focus of Bob Granger throughout his life... it’s all about paying it forward. In fact, it’s been through his charity work that Bob pursued his childhood dream of one day running a restaurant. Bob began his catering career through an incidental evolution over a decade ago. He offered a monthly “Pasta Dinner Night” at the Knights of Columbus on Baldwin Street in East Longmeadow. His premise at the time was to offer a sit down, family-style meal at an affordable price one night a month, where elderly and families could gather. He wanted these dinners to have a secondary charitable function, so he decided to create a scholarship fund from the proceeds, which then would provide high school students an opportunity to further their education as they embarked upon their college endeavors. It was through these scholarship dinners that Bob’s catering career and dream of running a restaurant was launched. His goal at the time was, and still is, to provide a delicious homemade meal at an affordable price, while making your dining experience both enjoyable and relaxing.
With many thanks to you, your continuing support, and a great staff, Bob has transformed his catering career into the restaurant business. Formerly of 3 Guys at the Grille at CCW, Bob’s new company, The Grille LLC, is the food and beverage managing entity of CCW Catering LLC, located at the Country Club of Wilbraham, 859 Stony Hill Road in Wilbraham, MA. “The Grille” is open 7 days-a-week and is open to country club members and to the public alike! There also is a full-service bar with big screen televisions, an outdoor dining area with fire pit seating, and a banquet facility called the Warner Room, which offers a beautiful space with a private bar for any type of function you may wish to host. Bob’s wife, Karen, plans many exciting events throughout the year, including but not limited to acoustics on the patio in the summer, live entertainment in the fall-winter season (with a dance floor to kick up your heels), Halloween and Christmas parties, cigar nights, beast feasts, wine pairings and more!
Our new and accomplished head chef, Javier Correa, and his kitchen team have elevated the dining experience and food quality beyond compare. Our waitstaff, lead by our awesome front-of-the house manager, Michelle Brown, is cordial, efficient and skillful. Both Javier and Michelle each bring 30+ years of talent and experience in the restaurant industry to share with you, our customers, to offer you the utmost dining experience. Emily Crandall, our friendly and energetic bar manager known as “Spitfire”, leads our crafty bartending staff, who offer weekly drink specials, seasonal delights, draft beers, seltzers, martinis, and your favorite potent potables!
We are not only a team at The Grille, but we are also a close knit family… we look forward to meeting you and your family and being honored to prepare a meal for you, see you at one of our events or, if you wish, just seeing you congregate with friends and raise your glass to offer some laughter and cheer!
